2분기 승용차 수출 6.9% 줄어…3분기 연속 감소세<br /><br /> Seoul's exports of passenger cars in second quarter dropped 6-point-9 percent compared to a year earlier… mainly due to low demand from Washington.<br /> According to the Korea Customs Service, the amount in Q2 was 9-point-6 billion U.S. dollars... equivalent to a total of 640-thousand vehicles.<br />It's the third straight quarter that figure has fallen on-year.<br />Exports to the States were down 14-point-7 percent.<br />There was also a fall in shipments to Central and South America… but that's because many South Korean automakers have built their own local factories there.<br />Meanwhile... car imports increased in the same period by 18-point-7 percent last year. <br />
